New Hurricane Flood Protection System
The Stratford is among the first communities in Naples to install an engineered hurricane flood protection system (installed in 2026). The system is designed to seal the building at its lowest elevations, helping prevent storm surge and floodwaters from entering during severe weather events.
The system features commercial-grade aluminum flood barriers. When assembled, the individual logs, form seven feet high flood barriers around the building. The barriers are installed in advance of an approaching storm to help protect ground-floor openings from flooding.
